Finanziamento del Contenzioso S.p.A. at ACMI Day 2026

ACMI Day 2026 took place in Milan, at the Sala Orlando of Confcommercio — the annual event organised by ACMI – Associazione Credit Manager Italia, dedicated to innovation in credit management, artificial intelligence, and new digital competencies applied to the credit management industry.

The theme chosen for this edition — “Reverse Credit. Where the experience of credit managers meets AI and the digital skills of new generations” — effectively captured the spirit of a day of dialogue among professionals, businesses, and industry stakeholders, all navigating an increasingly complex economic landscape shaped by emerging technologies, evolving risks, and new models in financial and credit management.

Founded in 1974, ACMI is Italy’s oldest association representing professionals in commercial credit. A member of FECMA – Federation of European Credit Management Associations – ACMI promotes the professional development of credit managers through training, networking, and industry dialogue. A highlight of the event’s programme was the session delivered by Libra – Finanziamento del Contenzioso, titled “Litigation Funding: a Financial Planning Tool”, featuring Francesco Consoli, CEO of Libra – Finanziamento del Contenzioso, and Massimiliano Moschen, Head of Claims Assessment, moderated by Egidia Lentini, ACMI Board Member.

During the session, the representatives of Libra – FdC SpA explored the increasingly strategic role of litigation funding as a lever for financial planning and the efficient management of corporate legal assets. In a context where the protection of credit rights and the handling of disputes have a growing impact on company balance sheets, litigation funding proves to be a tool capable of turning potential costs and financial tie-ups into opportunities for capital optimisation and risk mitigation.

The presentation fitted seamlessly into the broader debate developed throughout ACMI Day, focused on the new frontiers of credit management, organisational transformation, and the evolving role of credit professionals — increasingly called upon to integrate financial, strategic, and technological expertise.

Libra – FdC SpA’s participation in the event also provided a valuable opportunity for engagement with Italy’s credit management community, reinforcing the importance of dialogue between the legal sector, finance, and credit management in supporting businesses through a continuously evolving market.
